  1. What is the partnership with IBM and/or Microsoft all about?

Logino: Partnership is a dangerous word here. SafeTech, the tech company behind Safe Haven has been accepted into the IBM and Microsoft Partner Program. This means that we get technical support, we can attend workshops, we get marketing support and they help us grow within their network.

  1. Being accepted into the Microsoft Partnership Program allows Safe Haven to access many resources within the Network. Which resources spark your interest the most?

Logino: We are the most interested in the network. We believe that being part of IBM and Microsoft will open many doors in the future.

  1. Safehaven is working with NFT games like VulcanVerse to incorporate Inheriti into this new exciting “own your game” stuff. Do you also plan to work with others like The Sandbox, Decentraland etc?

Logino: Interesting topic. NFT’s will play a crucial role in the future of blockchain technology. Everyone knows how the Pokémon cards are increasing in value every day. So we believe that making NFT’s inheritable will help create great exponential growth. VulcanVerse will probably be the first where we integrate Inheriti into the game. Many will follow but first we need to explore the possibilities and protect the tech.

  1. Regarding IBM and Microsoft, if they see a solution being built that is important for their customers, will they help us push it?

Logino: Yes, we get marketing support on a financial level as well. IBM for example provides grants to their partners if they believe that the tech is revolutionary. Of course it is obvious that we need to prove ourselves as a member of the program. We need to show dedication and interest to work with IBM, Microsoft and their products.

  1. Can we expect a listing on a tier 1 exchange like let’s say Binance by Q1 2021?

Logino: We receive many questions about the Binance topic. Everyone must have noticed that we started building dApps on Binance so here is the deal. Binance offered Safe Haven a deal in form of a grant to support the BSC network and ecosystem. Currently we are discussing that offer with Binance X, the investment arm of Binance. Once the deal is sealed, I am sure they will announce it like they did with the other projects they support financially. About the listing on Binance, there is nothing I can say about that.

  1. Can you tell us what kind of interesting partners for Safe Haven are part of IBM Partnerworld and Microsoft?

Logino: The list is long. Traditional cloud providers and asset management companies are the ones we will focus on.

  1. Can we expect an Inheriti button on exchanges to make it as easy as to open an order?

Logino: Yes, my end goal is to have an Inheriti button on the exchange, when you click the button everything happens in the back-end with libraries and APIs. You pay the exchange a monthly fee which is deducted from your spot account. If we can achieve that and I believe we will, we will see epic growth and transactions.

  1. As I read about the MPP, companies are rewarded with incentives as they successfully work within the network. What are some of these incentives and how will that impact Safe Haven’s growth in the future?

Logino: Our focus on IBM and Microsoft will increase after the development of the Business Edition of Inheriti. It’s obvious that traditional players in the market who have no knowledge about blockchain are not familiar with Binance or VeChain or Ethereum. So building on IBM would bring trust. At the moment, we are finalizing the EU blockchain grant and they advised us not to spend any resources on developing until the grant is approved. All funds spent before the approval of the grant are lost and will not count. So there is a small delay on the SE/BE as we speak.

  1. Microsoft and IBM are working on many other projects in the crypto space. Will there be possibilities to integrate Inheriti into them (using IBM and Microsoft as intermediary)?

Logino: Yes, the intention is to integrate IBM as one of our infrastructure blockchains in the future.

  1. Is there anyone at the SHA team that it’s trying or it’s approaching Grayscale or Michael S for them to look at the problems that inheriti solves and adopt it?

Logino: Not at the moment. We proved that we can deliver a working product which in my opinion works very smoothly. Now we need to show the B2B clients that we are able to deliver a solid SE/BE solution. So after the EU blockchain grant is approved, we will focus 100% on delivering the SE/BE of Inheriti.

  1. Wow, great to hear, a very good reason to postpone SE/BE a bit!

Logino: Well, we are speaking about a grant of 500K — 1M USD here. Look what we did with the ICO funds in the last 3 years and what we delivered. We will be able to allocate all these new resources to expansion, development and onboarding of B2B partners. This will take Safe Haven to a new level in the space.

  1. What efforts has the team been making with USA companies? Obviously, Microsoft is a US organization as well as IBM, but with regards to the US Market in general- Is Safe Haven pursuing US groups at this time?

Logino: Yes we are. Our main focus was on the US and we scheduled several meetings in the last few months. Of course, because of the Covid-19 situation, we couldn’t attend a single one. Once the Covid situation is solved, we will keep our focus on the US.

  1. Which roles will you look to be hiring in the next 12 months?

Logino: Blockchain developers, security engineers, full stack developers and marketing managers. These will be the roles we will open up in the coming months.

  1. While waiting on the grant, what is the team focusing their energy on?

Logino: BinBlock, FND, and BSC development.

  1. Will you have any business development roles?

Logino: We have that covered in the US and EU now, 90% of the funds will be focused on technical expansion.

  1. How long can we expect the grant to be delayed? I mean a couple of months or it’s something that can take a bit more?

Logino: The grant is not delayed. In fact, because of all the documentation we have been writing in the past years, we were able to skip some parts and move faster. We expect to finish everything by the end of January.

  1. Are there any plans to expand in the near term into the Asia market?

Logino: Sure, we filed our patents in Hong Kong recently. Once we get the approval, we will actively start pursuing the Asian market.

  1. Do you know about Hacken? If SHA can match with HAI, it will be a very excellent product.

Logino: Yes, Hacken and SHA have a good relationship. Dyma is actually a friend. I believe that Dyma will write something about Inheriti soon. A partnership between Hacken and SHA is possible for sure.

  1. It seems that IBM is building its own ecosystem (approach with companies that they are interested in). How much time have you estimated to start running in the ‘IBM world’?

Logino: It all depends on the EU grant, how soon we can finalize that, and how fast we can start working with IBM and their resources.

  1. Once this Binance SmartChain collaboration solidifies and takes hold, this approach of working “behind the curtain” to become the solution provider for digital asset inheritance can become “copy and paste” for other crypto exchanges. I’m curious about insurance. Is digital insurance also on the radar for Safe Haven?

Logino: Not at the moment. I really believe that with digital inheritance and our patents filed already we have something unique in our hands. I would like to focus on the expansion of our market share and start integrating partners. Developing a new insurance product would be time consuming and cost a lot of money that we could use for other things right now.

  1. So it sounds like the EU grant will kick start many things, but will Binance Smart Chain come first?

Logino: Yes. BSC will come first.

  1. What’s the fallback plan B if there are extensive delays in the EU grant process and MS/IBM collaboration?

Logino: The EU grant and the Binance grant won’t change a thing. In fact, we already started developing on our Binance products so even if there was a delay on the grant, we would still release everything once ready. If we notice that the EU grant has a big delay (which is not the case right now), we would need to consider the impact vs the importance of the funds we would receive.

  1. What is the timeframe for partnerships to start integrating more? Will we see an uptick 3 months out? I assume the grant plays a role in the speed of that but I’m more curious about those who are “waiting in the wing” so to speak.

Logino: We hope to integrate our first B2B partners by the end of Q2 or beginning Q3. We have several pentestings and security audits going on right now to prove to these companies that our solution is safe and secure. These testings need to be done but play a very important role in onboarding partners. No one will open his platform without knowing if it’s secure or not.

  1. Node staking. I’m beyond ready for that. Everything is still on course for this?

Logino: Yes, sir. Andy is working to release that on time. Of course he is human and not a robot. That is why I don’t like to put hard dates on development.

  1. Would you guys consider making a round of capital with SHA node holders if there are any hiccups with the grant or if there is any need for capital?

Logino: Would there be interest from our SHAman community to obtain some equity in the company? This is something we briefly discussed internally as a future option. I remember Kraken did it as well so it’s something we could consider. At the moment the founders still hold 100% of the company. This is something unusual in the startup world but also our strength. That is also why we go the grant route and will accept VC’s on our terms. But the SHAman will always have a special place, so let’s think about it.

  1. I believe you mentioned something about Polkadot in the past. Would you care to elaborate on that?

Logino: Polkadot was on my wish list but no priority at the moment. With BSC, VeChain and the other chains we are building on right now, we believe that this will be sufficient to reach the masses in the years to come.

  1. What would you like for Christmas? 😉

Logino: For everyone here to have a wonderful end of the year and a strong beginning of 2021 where we all can shine together.
